YOGA RETREAT IN CYPRUS 2026

Yoga Retreat in Cyprus

UNESCO Heritage Lefkara Village

May 20–24, 2026
9 Spaces Available

Famous for its stunning nature, rich history, and vibrant culture, Cyprus is the destination for the May 2026 yoga retreat in Cyprus. We will spend five unforgettable days in the UNESCO heritage village of Lefkara, considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved villages in the country. Our days will begin with yoga and breakfast. Throughout the day, we’ll slowly uncover the history and beauty of the island. We’ll learn how to make traditional local lace with grandmothers at a workshop—Lefkara is famous for this craft. We’ll take a day trip to explore both the Greek and Turkish sides of the capital, Nicosia, and enjoy lunch under a fig tree in this divided city. We’ll also stop to photograph flamingos with the Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque in the background and take an evening stroll along the seafront promenade in Larnaca town.

Our home for the Yoga retreat in Cyprus will be  The Agora Hotel, a newly renovated historical building in the heart of Lefkara. The property belongs to the local church and was recently transformed into a stunning boutique hotel with a pool by a Danish couple. Each room has its own character, and the hotel is now listed among the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Here, we’ll also practice yoga, and you can enjoy spa treatments in the on-site wellness area.

Accommodation is offered in single or twin ensuite rooms. Twin rooms are available only for two friends booking together.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
I’m Veronika, originally from Slovakia, and I’ve been living in Santorini since 2010. My yoga journey began in 2009 during a vacation in the Philippines, and I became a certified yoga teacher in 2012 after completing a 200-hour Mindful Yoga Therapy course with Kathy Ward. Since then, I’ve continued my studies in perinatal and baby yoga with Birthlight, yin yoga, and physiotherapy-based yoga. In 2022, I completed my 500-hour certification with Jason Crandell.

Since 2013, I’ve been teaching yoga retreats, mainly at Caveland in Santorini, which I run as a boutique hostel. My classes focus on Hatha Flow, emphasizing alignment and eccentric strength.

With 14 years of experience organizing retreats in Greece (Santorini, Milos, Naxos) and Morocco, I bring a wealth of knowledge. I’ve also worked as a product developer, marketing manager, and local representative for travel agencies.

WANT TO EXTEND YOUR HOLIDAY?

Let me know if you’d like to extend your stay at The Agora Hotel — I’d be happy to arrange that for you. Alternatively, you could enjoy a few relaxing beach days at one of the seaside resorts. My personal recommendation: AT Herbal Hotel in Protaras.
